Assistant professor and researcher in science and technology studies with a focus on data analysis, socio-semantic analysis and spatial analysis. He leads activities on the CorText platform at LISIS and teaches at ESIEE Paris and Gustave Eiffel University.
His work lies at the intersection of science and technology studies, economic geography and digital research methods. He develops methods and tools to support empirical research on the dynamics of science, technology and innovation, with a particular focus on large-scale textual and relational data, network analysis and spatial analysis. He regularly gives courses and training sessions on CorText Manager, socio-semantic analysis and the mapping of science dynamics in various contexts.
This dual focus, combining technical expertise and social sciences, is also reflected in the courses for which he is responsible, including : Introduction to Relational Databases (3rd year, ESIEE Paris), Web Application Development (4th year, ESIEE Paris), Geographic Information Processing (4th-year workshop, ESIEE Paris), as well as Controversy Analysis and Mapping (1st year, ESIEE Paris), and Digital Trace Analysis, Introduction to the Mapping of Scientific and Media Information (Université Gustave Eiffel, Master D2SN).
Research interests
Science and technology studies, economic geography, natural language processing, social network analysis, spatial analysis, data visualisation, scientometrics and digital research methods applied to large, heterogeneous corpora (publications, patents, press, institutional data).
