Before coming to LISIS, Luis worked for Colombia’s largest bank, helping teams follow best practices while transitioning to cloud-native projects, making benchmarks and proofs of concept of tools across the technology stack.
He was consulted and gave talks and webinars for the Colombian Ministry of Technology and Communication (MinTIC) as a part of an academic team trying to bring linked open data practices to public organizations, after winning second place in MinTIC’s nationwide open data visualization contest.
At LISIS, he actively maintains and helps improve CorText Manager and collaborates building and analyzing RISIS datasets.
