Funded PostDoc position on higher education research at the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI)
Applications for one PostDoc position in a group on Research Policy and Higher Education Studies at USI in Lugano.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in social sciences or economics on a topic related to research policy, sciences or higher education studies and should have competences in quantitative research and data management; s//he should exhibit an interest in the study of the structure of higher education systems, as well on diversity of higher education and its policy and organizational determinants.
The selected candidate will work on various European research projects, such as the RISIS2 research infrastructure project (www.risis2.eu) and the European Tertiary Education Register project (www.eter-project.com), managing data collection and the production of indicators; additionally, S/he will be expected to publish in top-level journals in the field both individually and together with the group leader and other members of the group.
Working place will be in Lugano, distant work might be possible in a first phase.
